CHARITY WORK FOR THE DEVELOPMENT OF SOCIETY (CORPORATE SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY)

Since its establishment, Boudha Stupa Thank Center has been involved in many charity works. It has been supporting the disadvantaged people of remote villages of Nepal. In social development, it was formally associated with ‘HONGANJI BUDDHIST SOCIETY NEPAL’ Kapan-3. Mr. Anil is the founder president of the organization. Under his leadership, the company offers many charity services.

Our major aim is to support the underprivileged community with our work. We offer scholarship programs to the poor students and work for the infrastructure development of educational institutions in remote villages. A certain percentage of Boudha Stupa Thangka Centre income is utilized to support remote regions and respond to their concerns. Besides this, we help preserve culture, tradition, and religious respect.

The pandemic of COVID-19 was a difficult time for both individuals and businesses. So, during this pandemic of covid-19, our company supported the individuals struggling with basic requirements. We distributed the basic needs of people like; food and clothes. The people who got help from us are from Kathmandu Valley. Along with this, our company also provided thermometers, masks, gloves, and sanitizers to the minor children of Shree Dahoo Secondary School situated in a remote area of Ramechhap.

Major Project Areas Supported by Boudha Stupa Thanka Center

Kathmandu Bodhi Foundation (Bouddha-6)

An NGO is dedicated to spreading Buddhism in Nepal. It is one of the best projects which has been running different socio-development programs within the underprivileged community in the remote region of Nepal. It believes in spiritual understanding for sustainable society, development, and peace. It organizes different teachings, religious courses, and awareness campaigns. In addition to this, it provides medical assistance through health camps, blood donations on religious occasions.

Shree Dahoo Secondary School(Bethan-5, Ramechhap)

Boudha Stupa Thanka Centre has directly participated in building “SHREE DAHOO SECONDARY SCHOOL,” donating financially and volunteering. Now, in the structure, 475 students are utilizing for their schooling purpose. It is located in the Tamang community, which is considered as the background society of Nepal in Education.

Ramechhap, Janakpur

While the country was shattered by Corona Virus and its effect on health system of the country. BSTC took the initiation to help the people of the Sunapati a rural VDC of Ramechap district with Masks and Sanitizers. More than 30 thousand people were given the health care items.

Grocery Distribution

At the time of Covid-19 Nepal was under economic crisis which made a big impact on Nepalese people. Many people had problem even to get basic needs like food. Considering the scenario BSTC distributed Grocery (Rice, Lentils, Oil, Salt, etc.) to the people who were in need in the places like Bhaktapur, Patan and Swayambhu.

Shree Sati Basic School (Dukhu, Myagdi)

In 12th December, 2022 Mr. Anil Ghising the Managing Director of BSTC distributed the necessary stationary items like Copies, Pencils and Whiteboard along with 10,000 nepalese rupees to each blocks; senior block and junior block of Shree Sati Basic School. The school is situated at duku village which is one of the remote magar villages of Myagdi district of Nepal. The distance between Kathmand to Duku village is nearly 300 Km.

 

SHERPA TOURISM ENTREPRENEURS ASSOCIATION OF NEPAL (STEAM)

Boudha Stupa Thanka Center has always been actively involved in different kind of social activities. Likewise, on the occasion of 2150 Gyalbo Lhosar, BSTC did a financial contribution to the Sherpa Tourism Entrepreneurs Association of Nepal.

 

Monastery of Ramechap district

Boudha Stupa Thanka Centre, a renowned center for traditional Buddhist art and craft in Kathmandu, Nepal, recently donated a range of valuable items to a monastery in Sunapati ward of Ramechhap district. The donation included Buddhist prayer books, power drums and bells, which are essential tools for practicing Buddhism.

The donated items will be used by the Buddhism practitioner in their daily prayers and rituals. The books contains important Buddhist teachings and scriptures, while the power drums and bells are used to create a calming and meditative atmosphere during prayer sessions. The items will be valuable addition to the monastery’s collection, and will help to further their spiritual practices.
