We toured the center on our first day in Kathmandu. The owner, Mr. Anil Lama, served as our guide, explaining the detailed meanings behind the beautifully and intricately painted works. His knowledge and passion were evident, and my family of four was so in awe of the tedious, minute detail and philosophy associated with the paintings that we purchased two. After, we drank tea with Mr. Lama in his private back room and learned more about this traditional art form. A truly magical visit with works that we will treasure forever.
